A Little Fun and the American People, You Know

Instead of debating the debate, I thought I'd send some willing readers to a rather fun article my dad, an English teacher, passed along to me. It's from Slate.com, so while it's biased, it's also deliciously entertaining (at least for English majors).

Click here to check it out.

Wow that's a really geeky way of saying that Sarah Palin is really not a bright person. It doesn't take an English major to determine that there's something wrong with what she is saying. People are finally starting to see that Republican is the new illiterate.

I am an English major, and while the article was entertaining I think the bias takes away from whatever fun I might have had.

Full disclosure - I'm neither Republican or Democrat and I think the entire political process is broken beyond repair.

Part of what caused this is the incredible amount of bi-partisan b.s. spewed by folks simply because someone is not "a member of their party."

Really, if Sarah Palin were a Democrat would she get this much grief?

I think not. But that's just my 22 cents.

P.S. I have a librarian helping me with that copyright post. I didn't forget.
